NHK's period drama RYOMADEN
In the big hit drama “Ryoma-den” (Legend of Ryoma) Hidetaro Honjoh was given the task of being in charge of some traditional Japanese music played in the show. He composed a song that the actor of Ryoma Sakamoto, Masaharu Fukuyama, is able to play on the Shamisen and Yueqin (a four-stringed Chinese Lute). Masaharu Fukuyama plays the composition in a very strong yet calm manner show just how this composition from Hidetaro Honjoh is really something else.
